About me
​I am Leandro, a passionate cyclist from the idyllic island of Madeira, and I live for two-wheeled adventures. My days are a blend of adrenaline-pumping mountain biking (MTB) and thrilling enduro rides. However, my connection to bicycles extends beyond the trails.
By day, I am a skilled bicycle mechanic, fine-tuning gears and ensuring smooth rides
I am a certified guide, I lead fellow enthusiasts through Madeira’s rugged terrain. With each twisty descent and lung-busting climb, I share not just geographical knowledge but also the spirit of adventure.
For me, life is a perpetual ride. Whether navigating rocky switchbacks or spinning along coastal roads, happiness resides in the saddle for me.
My Journey
​Since I was a little kid, I have been passionate about bicycles. Although I never had the support to buy a professional bike or to participate in races, I never stopped dreaming of the day I would buy my first bike. At the time I would accompany some friends on their rides and they would lend me their bikes, but without ever believing in my potential. Despite this, I never stopped believing. I started working and after saving some money I was finally able to buy my first bike and signed up for my 1st race in December 2021. The feeling of finally participating in a race was inexplicable. Since then I have trained hard and fought for my dreams, against everyone's expectations, without ever missing any race since then, whether in DH or Enduro.
At the moment, I am an athlete for Valour Club in São Vicente, Madeira.
